> 3 dayFirst and foremost, I need a convertible backpack which allows for transport - all materials needed for the long days on campus (grad student). In addition, I need the professional aspect to function as a briefcase. Solely on those points, this bag fits the bill. (BTW - no discount or freebie here for this review - I paid for this!) PROS: 1. Material: feels and looks professional, good color, seems at the very least to be water repellent 2. Zippers: seem strong enough, especially when loaded - two of them house the briefcase handles 3. Padding: quality - on the backpack straps and particularly the section directly meant for the computer 4. Compartments: although the pictures do not necessarily show this, there are zippers on the outside, and inside, a pocket with divisions for pencils/pens/highlighters. CONS: 1. Backpack adjustable straps: are on the lower part not allowing for easy adjustment while on your back 2. Lower connection backpack straps: hidden - cannot see whether sewn in well or not 3. Strap to hold computer in place: oddly long, which would allow for movement and sliding around, something you dont want your computer to do when inside 4. No compartment/pocket for a water bottle (my pet peeve) 5. PRIMARY (HUGE) ISSUE: Backpack straps which rest on upper trapezoids (left and right) are situated in a very uncomfortable position when fully loaded. Im unsure if its the angle or the placement, but the straps are too close to your neck and would cause pain. Primarily for this reason, Im returning the backpack. Sad because even with the other cons (more annoyances than anything else) if it were not for this one, I wouldve kept the backpack because the pros outweigh the cons. Pictures: Its important to see how a backpack will perform in my daily life. Therefore, the pictures provide a sense of how much stuff this can carry, with the contents both packed and unpacked. Contents: Lenovo ThinkPad T460 in neoprene case, keys, 1 1/2 loose-leaf binder, yearly planner, scientific calculator, computer power cord, small cosmetic case, large cosmetic bag which houses pens/pencils/highlighters/usb drive/mouse/headphones and wallet. Final thoughts: if only used as a briefcase/shoulder bag, this may be for you. However, if the primary purpose is to function as a backpack, good luck. I think another reviewer mentioned the oddly-placed backpack straps, but sadly, I ignored that advice. In addition, cannot ascertain the strength of the shoulder strap as I didnt want to break the seal, but it is pictured.

> 3 dayBeautiful color. It has several different compartments to hold all your computer gear, cords, etc. Mine had room for snacks, 17 computer, cooling pad, headphones, mouse, expansion drive, and cooling pad :-) Everything in one. It works as well as a hand carried bag as it does as a backpack when traveling. Highly recommended!

> 3 dayIm a Realtor who likes to use a laptop so this bag is amazing for my 17 laptop. I usually wear it like a backpack but turn it into a hand held when meeting with clients at there home. It goes from laid back to professional is seconds and holds a ton of notebooks, supplies my laptop a tablet, my cell phone and the chargers. I own the grey color which looks sharp. I cant say enough about this gem.

> 3 dayMy boyfriend works downtown and takes the train everyday. He needed something sleek and sturdy but very versatile. This was it! You can make it into a shoulder bag, brief case and backpack. Lots of space for his macbookipad He even squeeze his dress shoes bc he commutes wearing his gym shoes. Great product thus far.

> 3 dayI bought this for my daughter to use in college. Shes been using it for three weeks now and she loves it! Shes a smaller girl and this is not too oversized and bulky for her. She hasnt used it as a backpack yet, she likes the ability to use it as a messenger bag. So far, it is wearing well. I would recommend this bag.

> 3 dayIve been using this bag now for almost two years traveling back and fourth to work 5 days a week and have occasionally traveled out of state. This bag still looks great, no wear marks, fraying or holes and the backpack straps show no sign of fail. I needed a bag that was big enough to carry a 15 laptop, umbrella, lunch, light jacket, gloves, hat, small purchases and whatever else that inevitably accumulates over time. I commute by bus and needed something that gave me multiple options for carrying that had a small profile when using the backpack option and that would protect my laptop through all the bumps & shoves. I have a short torso, other bags Ive used would bulge out towards the bottom and would hang low enough to bounce onto my lower back & hips. This bag is super comfortable, compact yet very spacious and I still get many compliments on it.

> 3 dayI love this computer bag. Its not heavy, but very roomy. Fits my laptop as well as an additional Monitor that I need for business. Also fits comfortably my tablet. Plenty of room for the cords and a purse. I love wearing it on my back, to free up my two hands and to even out the weight.
