> 3 dayTLDR: This is an awesome travel monitor. Period. It is so thin and light and plug and play. I love the built in stand on the back and power delivery over USB-C. It supports multiple inputs and even sound as well. The whole point of this thing is that it is awesome for travel. I can definitely see a use if you had a couple of kids in the car with an XBOX or something like that. It comes with all the needed cables, which is a huge plus. WHAT I LIKE: -Incredibly Portable -It seems silly but it comes in premium packaging. I find that if a brand is willing to pay extra for nice packaging, then the product is usually of a far higher quality than competitors. -Supports multiple video imports -Built in kickstand is great. SUPER convenient. -Cables included -It is Plug and Play WHAT I DONT LIKE -When it comes to my monitors, be it a laptop or desktop, I ALWAYS buy at least 144Hz. I find that the smoothness of the screen is so noticeable that it is usually not something I will compromise on. BUT, I think that the portability of a 17 inch screen is enough to offset the lower refresh rate.

> 3 dayCOOLHOODs 17.3 portable flat panel monitor is a good, competent monitor. There are a lot of great things to say about this flat panel... but its not perfect. In its favor, it is big... 17.3-inches (diagonally) big, offering plenty of visual real estate, and pairing nicely with most 17-inch laptops. For its size, it weighs-in as expected- not heavy, definitely portable. This monitor features a built-in kick stand... so it sets up easily, and quickly. And the monitor comes with all the accessories needed, to make it plug-n-play, straight out of the box. Included are an HDMI cable, USB-A to USB-C cable, a straight USB-C cable, and a neoprene sleeve- to store and protect the display in. The monitor also comes with a USB-A power supply cube. Thats a nice touch, since so many manufacturers omit that very-useful accessory, apparently in the name of making a buck. Kudos to COOLHOOD, on this one. This portable monitor also has built-in speakers that play nicely, with good volume- though they are a bit tinny sounding. I connected this display to my Asus Zenbook 14, and even running on batteries, my laptop easily powered up this portable display- mirroring the built-in one, using only the straight USB-C cable. That IS portability. The portable monitors display is responsive, too. It had no trouble with high-speed graphics, as there was no discernible pixelation during rapid motion sequences. Brightness was on par with my PC, too. The reason I say it isnt perfect, is the saturation of color on this display. Comparing this display to the built-in display on my Zenbook- as well as other portable displays I own, I fiddled with every adjustable parameter of this monitor, but just couldnt quite get it to match the vibrancy of my built-in display. The picture I included shows the best I was able to get from this display. Its quite good... but it isnt perfect. In my opinion, this portable display always comes up looking just a little washed-out. Its crisp, its clear, its bright enough... but forever just a touch blue- no matter what setting I adjusted. I work in television, and I do a lot of video editing on my PC. Im not sure Id want to rely on this display to accurately show me a preview, before laying off finished material. That said, for gaming... or even just watching a movie, its the perfect up-size to the 14-inch display on my laptop.

> 3 dayFor a panel this size, brightness and with sound - it worked - out the box on a Dell XPS13 Thunderbolt / USB-C connection (first picture). No supplemental power needed. Though obviously if you want your laptop battery to last any length of time - the laptop will need some power supply support! Second picture is of a DVD player via the HDMI cable - in that case the panel needs power support. Third picture - panel comes with a supply of all possible cables and a power supply to cover these scenarios. Fourth picture - Decent enough Get started guide with Frequently Asked questions. If you really need to travel with a second screen to do multi-monitor work - this could be for you. It is the weight of just under half a 17 laptop (in effect) - but that is the price of the size. The soft slip cover provided will keep it from getting scratched. But you would still need to have a place in your laptop bag to prevent it getting damaged from being hit. Would buy again.

> 3 dayNo, it doesnt display in 4K, but it DOES display in 1080P full HD. Which, in my opinion is still really good. Its thin, lightweight, and has hardly any bezel. At least, compared to what Im used to. And with one regular USB-A port, a HDMI port, 2 USB-C ports, and 3.5mm audio port, you can pretty much hook this thing up to anything. Oh, and it also has dual speakers in it. Granted, they arent going to disturb the neighbors or anything, lol. But that aint half bad, considering theyre just a couple of speakers in a monitor. I could definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice size monitor thats also not too big.

> 3 dayI downsized when I bought a new laptop and was delighted to get this 17 monitor. It is easy to connect--plug and play--through HDMI or USB-C. Its even nice with a cell phone (Android, didnt try iphone). Its a lightweight monitor, easy to use and has a crisp, bright picture--plus speakers. Easy to bring along with the laptop, if needed, and a great addition to my home office. Very pleased.

> 3 dayThis is a really lightweight monitor. Easily fits in a book bag. Comes without a cover to protect the monitor. Cable cord included. Good quality. Easy to connect and get started. Great advantage having an additional monitor. It is so lightweight that I was super surprised. I highly recommend this item.
