> 3 dayThis monitor is thin, yet sturdy. Thickness is about like a tablet. It has a kickstand that folds out about 45 degrees when set up. This is perfect for meetings, travel, or to extend a laptops display with a second monitor. This is a 1080 display. It appears to be 8 bit color. This is fine for my use, but others may want more color depth. The color has more of a flat display compared to my laptops more vibrant color display. If you are a casual game or just need a larger screen to watch movies while traveling, this is a good solution. I use this to extend my laptops display on my desk. Very useful. If you need something for video editing or where color reproduction is more of a priority, this may not be for you.

Zero Cool
> 3 dayNo, it doesnt display in 4K, but it DOES display in 1080P full HD. Which, in my opinion is still really good. Its thin, lightweight, and has hardly any bezel. At least, compared to what Im used to. And with one regular USB-A port, a HDMI port, 2 USB-C ports, and 3.5mm audio port, you can pretty much hook this thing up to anything. Oh, and it also has dual speakers in it. Granted, they arent going to disturb the neighbors or anything, lol. But that aint half bad, considering theyre just a couple of speakers in a monitor. I could definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice size monitor thats also not too big.

> 3 dayI really like having two screens when using my laptop on the road. It makes me more productive having the extra screen. The image is very good, brightness is okay. It connects via USB C or HDMI and comes with a carrying case. I wish the kickout stand was larger more sturdy, but it does ok.

> 3 dayFor a panel this size, brightness and with sound - it worked - out the box on a Dell XPS13 Thunderbolt / USB-C connection (first picture). No supplemental power needed. Though obviously if you want your laptop battery to last any length of time - the laptop will need some power supply support! Second picture is of a DVD player via the HDMI cable - in that case the panel needs power support. Third picture - panel comes with a supply of all possible cables and a power supply to cover these scenarios. Fourth picture - Decent enough Get started guide with Frequently Asked questions. If you really need to travel with a second screen to do multi-monitor work - this could be for you. It is the weight of just under half a 17 laptop (in effect) - but that is the price of the size. The soft slip cover provided will keep it from getting scratched. But you would still need to have a place in your laptop bag to prevent it getting damaged from being hit. Would buy again.

Believe in Miracles
> 3 dayIve owned many similar portable monitors, and this one is decent in terms of overall quality vs price at the time of this review, because the price has dropped since I first requested it. The 1080P FHD IPS display provides clear images, which has been great for my work (not sure if it will work well for gaming though). The monitor is thin and lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around and use on-the-go. The invisible stand is a great feature that allows for easy adjustment and positioning. Additionally, the built-in speakers provide decent sound quality for a monitor of this size in my standard (probably not for my brother who is an audiophile). The monitor works well with my laptop (Windows). It’s only been a month, but I am quite satisfied with its performance and would recommend it to anyone looking for a portable and high-quality monitor (but make sure to compare the prices of similar monitors because there could be a coupon or deal going on Amazon)

> 3 dayOrdered this to serve as the primary monitor for a mini–PC. It serves my purpose well, and I can also see where this monitor would be perfect for the road warrior who needs a second monitor for a laptop PC. At a mere 5.8mm thick (and no more than twice that along the bottom quarter to accommodate the inputs), the COOLHOOD monitor weighs in at just under three pounds. Its sturdy aluminum frame and remarkably well constructed protective bag allow for extreme portability. While not infinitely adjustable, the monitors built-in kickstand is sturdy, well designed, and keeps the monitor in place even on a slick surface. That being said, Im using the COOLHOOD monitor with an aluminum tablet easel, which provides much better support and adjustability for my use. Picture quality is frankly much better than expected. No excessive backlight bleed, and color remains vivid and consistent across the viewing surface. I havent messed with the brightness, contrast, etc., because the picture quality is great right out of the box. Audio is nothing spectacular, but not inferior to any other monitor Ive reviewed. I never expect audiophile quality sound from monitors anyway, so no penalty incurred. Finally, a check on Amazon shows this COOLHOOD monitor in the sweet spot among its 17.3-inch competitors pricewise. That, plus its solid, reliable form factor and excellent image quality make it a winner, in my opinion, if you need a second laptop monitor or monitor you can fit in a tight space. Id be no less enthusiastic with my review had I paid for it myself instead of receiving it on Vine.
