> 3 dayI LOVED J & Js First Aid Cream. Alas, they no longer produce it. This cream is the closest to it that I could find, after much local and online searching. What was better about the J & J cream was that it had NO odor at all and it was even more soothing and healing than this cream. I tried to contact J & J to ask that they produce their cream again, but couldnt get through the layers of bureaucracy to even express my request.

> 3 dayin past years, Johnson and Johnson made a very similar cream. They discontinued it and Ambix has created a great cream that does about the same thing. It is great to spread over a burn..... works wonderfully. I also like it for minor irritations such as bug bites or a rash from a weed or such..... I use it on my grandson all the time...... no mess because it is not greasy.

Greater than one weekI have been a fan of J&J First Aid Cream for 40 years, that is until they apparently discontinued what to me was a perfect product. There are certain kinds of abrasions and burns that it was perfect for. When I found out a few years ago that it was being discontinued, I bought a bunch, which has almost run out. Then the task was to find a replacement. The Ambix product is the closest thing Ive found. They are not using all the same elemets (as can easily be seen on the ingredients), but it is pretty similar. It is definately less viscous, or more watery. But it is a pretty good replacement for the perfect product.

> 3 dayI really like the Ambix First Aid Cream. It is easy to apply. It is not greasy. It does a great to job by getting into narrow places and cover the cut or burn. It seems to help the cut or burn to heal more quickly.

> 3 dayUnfortunately, I cut myself and reached for this. I am sorry, but I had used J&J First Aid Cream since it was first introduced (thank you mother), so I will make my evaluation relative to that. This product is not quite as smooth as J&J FAC, but is far superior to ointment products that seemed to have rushed in to replace J&J FAC and does seem to have the healing qualities of the J&J product. I am glad I had the J&J product as I raised my children, and am glad I have this product I have this product when my grandchildren come to visit, just in case.

> 3 dayWhen I found out that J&J First Aid Cream was no longer available, my reaction was eerily similar to the scene at the end of the original Planet of the Apes movie where Charlton Heston sees the Statue of Liberty and pounds his fist into the wet sand saying YOU MANIACS! YOU BLEW IT UP! and so on. The Ambix product seems to do the job, though it lacks the distinctive beeswax smell and feel of the now-defunct old standard. I am forced to accept that loss as part of the ongoing cheapening of our modern world. Im glad that someone makes a product to partly fill that void, but life will never be the same.
