Best substitute for the old Johnson & Johnson First Aid cream that is no longer made. I have given tubes to many people and they LOVE it. It pulls the puss, dirt, dried blood (etc) out of the wound and it heals nicely.

This is replacement for topical antiseptic that contain antibiotics which are over used and not always effective. Should be an option in your medicine cabinet. Kim

Very pleased that this is a comparable replacement for the original J&J First Aid Cream that was discontinued back in 2008. I actually still had an empty tube of the original product I had saved to compare ingredients if I ever found a substitute product, and the ingredients are mostly the same with just a few variances. The best news is that the consistency, look, smell, and performance is the same as the original, and its still soothing/cooling and heals minor wounds much faster than other products having different formulas. It works great for facial blemishes too. I consider it a must-have in my medicine cabinet, so am hoping this new company continues to manufacture it.

Mild cream

Not as good as Johnsons First Aid cream - not as thick and doesnt smooth a burn as well without the beeswax in it - but good for a first aid cream that doesnt leave you greasy like the ointments do.

I e-mailed J & J three times requesting assistance in finding a substitute for their First Aid Cream, after they discontinued producing it, with no success. I finally Googled the J & J product and came across Ambix First Aid Antiseptic & Burn Cream. After reading the reviews I decided to order it. Ive ordered 6 tubes so far and intend on continuing to do so. It has solved the issue I was using the J & J product for.

I swore by Johnson & Johnson First Aid Cream, but they took it off the market. This cream is similar and works very well.

We were so sad and surprised when Johnson & Johnson stopped making their first aid cream. Nothing has ever been capable of healing like that stuff! Not sure why they would ditch it to focus on Neosporin. At any rate, we wondered if this might be the same thing, and yes, it is exactly the same as Johnson & Johnson - heals the same. Better buy a whole bunch of it, since there seems to be a movement out there to do away with anything that actually works. 0_o

I love this stuff. I cannot use triple antibiotic salve and this helps me so much!!
