Honestly, I have never used Copic Markers before but the texture and color it has on paper is extremely smooth. It is dual-tipped, dries quickly and has an accurate and great color but unfortunately bleeds through the paper (at least the one I used which was supposed to be bleed-proof paper). The product was shipped on time (brand new and in the original packaging) and I was very happy when I used them for the first time since the Copic Markers had great reviews and was highly recommended. I attached a picture of the picture I drew and colored with E00 (Skin White). cookie-hakase is my DeviantArt username.

These are nice markers. We bought them for our daughter because they were on sale for quite a discount. Normally her art budget means we get her Ohuhu or some other off brand alcohol marker. Decided to let her try these since they were the same price. She said she likes them and they are of equal quality to the cheaper ones we typically get her. If they are on sale we would consider them again, but they arent nice enough to merit the full price tag otherwise.

A review from my 17yr old daughter, after all, shes the one who uses them: Ive owned several sets of Prismacolor markers, but when I got a bunch of Amazon giftcards for Christmas, I decided it was time to up my game. I bought this set because Copic has such a good reputation, and because a set of skin tones is a really good way to start out a collection. All of these work very well together, shade just right, etc. etc, with the only exception being that the second-darkest and darkest colors do not actually work to shade each other, and I had to go buy another marker to work with those, but it wasnt a big deal. As per expected, these Copics work perfectly, although best on actual Copic-brand paper (figures), which is another 11 dollars. Id recommend these to any serious or semi-serious traditional comic artist. My only problem is my problem with all Copic products - theyre so damn expensive! Worth it, though, if you can afford them.

LOVED these alcohol markers. Theyre so easy to use. You could not believe how rich these colors look when applying them to your artworks. You can really tell these are quality markers by how clean the colors leave the paper. If youre looking forward to improving your art style THESE are the markers for you.

These are the only brand of skin tone markers I could find and Im not sure I need any others. As the titles says the colors are wonderful. There are two notes buyers should be aware of before purchase, however. -The markers bleed through common paper. I have not found a type of paper these markers will not bleed through and there is lateral bleed as well. You may have to practice just lightly caressing the paper so the bleed spreads to the areas you want to color. -For the most part the colors will dry to an even hue. For the most part. I noticed with the lighter skin tone that when I went to touch up an area I missed after it had dried, it darkened the color where the old and new marker strokes overlapped.

Besides the ridiculous price for the Copic Skin Tone marTone, They seem to last a long time. I am just bewildered by the pricing for these markers. As a cartoonist / sketch artist this price is a little steep. Plus it is pretty tough to find skin tone markers that will last a while and not run dry when you trying to color a picture. So basically you have to buy them. Would say its worth the pruce. But it is better to buy them in bulk, because the price for a single one of these Markers is about 9 dollars. Crazy, I know... Overall works really well. If you store them in a cool place the ink will indeed last a long time.

I am still learning how to blend with copic markers. These skintones one blend so well together and are the main pigmentation of the skin. I like these because you can add reds and purples from other sets to build up the skin. Highly recommended for any artist!

Sketch 6pc Skin Tones I Set. Scores of anime, manga, and comics artists as well as landscape, product, architecture, and fashion designers prefer COPICmarkers because of their ultra-blendable, low odor, alcohol based inks. Unlike water-based inks, which tend to pill and oversoak the paper while blending, Copics mix on the surface to deliver the wonderfully rich blends they’re known for. This outstanding performance has distinguished COPIC markers as the celebrated coloring tool within professional, semi-professional and hobby circles alike.
