Daughter wanted these for anime drawing. I was hesitant because of price but they are the thing that’s brought her the most joy this year. And her drawing has gotten so much better because she wants to practice all the time.

I know these are a big deal, so I figured they would be great. But using them was still a pleasant surprise! Theyre expensive (although theyre thankfully half the price they would have cost if I didnt wait to buy them online...), so I bought a six pack instead of a big pack, focusing instead on skin colors, which are the most important colors to me. It was a great decision, because these markers are wonderful for shading and blending. Also, when I first got into using art markers, I bought the slightly cheaper, but still excellent alternative of Prismacolors, because I heard you have to be fast when coloring with Copics, since going over a dried color will make that one area darker in an uneven manner. However, this warning is actually more true for Prismacolors than it is for Copics! But I will always love both. Art is awesome. :o)

Excellent variety of flesh tones and the paint brush nub glides across the page like youre actually painting. Only problem I encountered was a wee bit of bleeding. Im a design student and I bought these to use with my Fashionary sketch notebook. I do a lot quick fashion sketches in there and I needed some markers to quickly render my figures, you know, make them a little more realistic looking. But when I went to use these for the very first time, they completely bled through the page and almost ruined some designs I had on the back. I will admit though that the front of the page, the side of the page that was actually colored on, did look nice. You just pay for it on the other side. So, if youre looking to use this product in conjunction with Fashionary notebooks youd be wise to put your spending money elsewhere. However, if you plan on using a thicker grade of paper, Itll most likely get the job done (Confession #2: Havent tried it with thicker paper, yet. But Ive got plans to). Happy Rendering!!

I am still learning how to blend with copic markers. These skintones one blend so well together and are the main pigmentation of the skin. I like these because you can add reds and purples from other sets to build up the skin. Highly recommended for any artist!

Easy to use. My son loves these but good lord they are expensive!!!! I honestly don’t understand the difference between these and other cheaper brands that do the same thing.

My daughter is an artist and brush-tipped markers are her favorite. These retail for $8-$10 apiece at our local art supply store, so to get this many on-brand high-quality archival markers for this price is incredible. She draws with them every day. They blend beautifully and the colors are vibrant. Best of all: You can refill them! :-D

These are the real deal. If you want quality and performance from your markers, look no further. Yes, they are an expensive initial investment however, they are also made to last a lifetime with refillable ink and replacement nibs. That’s important to consider. If you are going to spend time creating your artwork, it only makes sense to use to the best quality markers. Copics are the industry standard.
