I used Corel products years ago and have a lot of .cpt (COREL PAINT) files.

Im just getting in to this program, but so far its been pretty good. This is actually a bundle of several programs, but the main program, Paint Shop Pro, is a great replacement for Photoshop.

I hate this, I was use to the screen and now i cannot find anything and when ask help it shows me my old screen view not what i have now. forget this..........get your money back

I have purchased several Corel products in the past. This is the first one that I am sorry I purchased. I think they tried to design Paintshop Pro to fit both the very experienced user and casual user. For me a casual user I want to get a task done as quickly and simply as possible. Best example I can provide, for something as basic as resizing a photo, Paintshop has 5 different techniques to get this accomplished. I dont care to have this level of complexity for a simple task and what makes it so complex is a user interface that in my opinion is hard to navigate and not immediately obvious.

Let me begin by saying that I have long been a big fan of Paint Shop Pro and have used it literally for decades since its earliest iterations. Which is why this new version and its truly, truly god-awful UI is such a complete and utter disappointment. I mean, were talking a worse than Windows Vista level of screw up here...theyve broken the UI out into different user-type branches, have removed 100% of the useful palettes, brushes, etc. from top level view/menus, have hidden things like, oh I dont know...HOW TO CREATE A NEW FILE under a number of counter-intuitive, misnamed/misleading menu headings...basically EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO USE THE PROGRAM HAS BEEN HIDDEN so as to, I guess, present a slicker UI. Its just truly a disaster of a program and a completely shameful legacy for one of the formerly best graphic design / photo editing suites out there. Pick up a copy of PSP9 and youll be *immensely* happier.

Weve been trying to cut down on expenses with things going the way they have been with this pandemic, so I wanted to learn how to do most of my own design for our firm and this software has been a tremendous help. I am not a professional but was able to use tutorials and many YouTube videos to guide me through the fundamentals and the tools in the software are AMAZING! I am still learning but have been able to create impressive designs and beautiful photos with it and I will only continue to get better. It is a small investment in taking your business to the next level if you put the time in.

When in a hurry to edit a picture, it so good to have ease of use.

I havent been able to use it yet, because I still cant find the serial number that was sold to me. Corel tells me it should be on my order / invoice, or in my games and software downloads on Amazon. I cant find it anywhere. Ill never do this again.
