Previous strainers all let food particles down the drain, but not this one. Every time I remove this strainer from the garbage disposal to run it there is not a grain of food underneath (compared to previous strainers). So glad I tried this one!

Why did I wait so long to buy this sturdy, metal kitchen sink strainer? First we tried the kind that is metal but also has a black rubber plug -- I hate that one because the rubber part gets sooooo nasty so fast and its hard to clean. Yuck!! Plus, we dont need a plug. We then tried a cute plastic one but that was also hard to clean and had no weight, so it floated when there was any water taking its time to go down the drain - and food scraps would get under it, and down the sink, so easily (and we have no garbage disposal)! Finally - we bought this one and it is such a joy! It weighs enough not to float - so *no* food is slipping under it down the drain. Its a lot easier to clean than the others as well. Thumbs up!!

Sturdier than wire mesh but doesnt drain as well. The cohesion of the water surface retains some amount from draining. I somewhat enlarged 4 center holes and while in the sink indented down that area with a rounded wooden dowel from the end of a broom. Drains completely now. I dont yet know if I had to drill or not. If just water is no big deal to you and otherwise kept clean, then add a star and you are good to go!

Clean look, works well.

Product fits just as hoped. Probably only needed one as you would not put this over the disposal drain. Now I have to remember where I stored the other one. On the other hand, perhaps just leave the extra on in the dishwasher and just swap it out with the soiled one.

Great drain for my sink.

I had ordered a packet of about 15 but they were out - so got this and had no idea what an improvement these steel strainers are. Easy to clean (the wire ones are a challenge) - I am happy with these and glad I ordered 2. I now have 4 and dont expect Ill need more. From now on, if I do need strainers, this will be my go-to.

Love these so much I purchased two more packs for a total of six sink baskets. They look nice, clean easily and catch all the items I dont want to go down the drain. Using these in the double kitchen sink and utility tub. Quick ship. Product even nicer than in photos.

Sounds kind of silly to write a review for a sink strainer but this is the best one ever!!! Easy to clean what gets caught and on the underside. Gave one to my mom. I cant see buying another one because this one will last forever.
