Very sturdy and well built. The bottom is solid metal sheet with holes in it, so its not going anywhere. Easy to clean, just throw it in the dishwasher. After several months in the sink, I dont see a touch of rust, so hopefully this will be a be saving my drain for years to come.

I ve been using strainers that sometimes dont fit my sink snuggly and scraps sneak under the strainer and end up in the pipe or are made with flimsy mesh that trap scraps but are difficult to clean or fall apart. This product is sturdy stainless steel, fits my sink perfectly , its easy to remove and easy to clean. It does not have an option to close so you can fill up the sink with water though - but thats a feature Ive never used in kitchen sink as I dont soak anythink in my kitchen sink , but if you do, then youll need to consider that this product does not allow you to do that.

After clogging my kitchen sink for a second time, I realized I need to get a better strainer. This thing will fill up fast with food particles, but that is the point. Expect frequently dumping with this one, but know all that food isnt going down your drain. I live in an older house, and Im not about to create some blockage in my old pipes! This thing could save a whole lot of trouble and money. Ive had for a few weeks now and it is still very shiny and the material seems like itll hold up good.

This strainer is good in not allowing any rice or other small food particles go down the drain. The last thing you want is a clogged kitchen sink. It does what is suppose to do. I recommend it.

I like to clean fresh produce using both sides of my kitchen sink. This is exactly what I wanted.

This is a fine strainer. It fits in the drain. But it feels “cheap” and light weight. I was looking for something that would keep my cat out of the garbage disposal and this felt so light he could flick it out easily. It’s a perfectly functional strainer, but some others on Amazon are the same price and feel better made.
