My stock stock grey 350W PSU was dying - causing random reboots and shut-offs. I finally upgraded to the 850W PSU from Corsair and it worked like a charm. The PSU itself and the cables speak quality. This PSU powers my crypto mining rig with 3 HDDs (which are running all the time) and 1 SSD. This PSU put new life into my 5-year old motherboard and all the components.

As always, Corsair PSUs are great and reliable. Modular design allows for less cables and cleaner setups.

Expected a bit more from Corsair, but the cables that come with this PSU are terrible. Every cable has massive sections of heat shrink right where they connect to the motherboard/GPU. Not only does this make it look bad if you have a window in your case but it reduces the flexibility significantly.

I like Corsair PSUs. This one does not disappoint.

Not sure how much you can say about a power supply, but here goes: It bolted right up to the standard holes in the case, the package contained wiring harnesses for every possible configuration, it was well made and sturdy, and the computer runs great with it.

A lot of power supplies cheap out on the cables and make plugging (or unplugging) anything into the motherboard (especially the 24 pin connector) a huge pain in the a**, this is not one of those. The cables are fairly easy to bend and plug/unplug easily.

Whenever I wiggled the AC cord the power supply would shut down. Traced it down to a weak internal space connector. The AC movement was moving the back plate, which in turn was wiggling the internal connectors. Talk about poor quality.

With the fan on or off its silent. Its technically a downgrade from my hx850 but being virtually silent was most important to me
