Ive been buying Corsair products for few years now without any problems; Guess this time I rolled zeros because it failed hard on me... 1 in a million chance I guess.

Great product and great price.

I bought this PS to replace my Corsair 750. I machine was shutting it self off and rebooting randomly and I believe that it was starving for juice. So I followed the advise of a PC guy and got the Corsair 1000 and put in about 5 fans and the problem went away.

I dont know whos in charge of putting the accessory cables in these packs, but for a hobby 850w supply somebody needs to get their poop in a group becuase the selection of cables is atrotious. I have a 6900XT video card and it takes a serious amount of power to feed it. So what kind of cables do they include? A single power cable with a jumper at the end so it fills up all the slots. I had cables left over from an older power supply, a 600W oddly enough and it has two separate cables, so I used two parallel runs of 18 gauge wire instead of the newer single 16 gauge with a jumper. 2 18 gauge runs will supply more power than the single cable, so thats what I went with. That was incredibly stupid/cheap on their part.

It runs silent and works just as expected.

Could be a tad cheaper, other than that its great in terms of noise and ease of installation

This is an amazing power supply. Corsair always makes very high quality products just like this psu. As a first time builder this was super easy to install
