This is obviously a very powerful PSU, and being able to plug each cable in separately is a huge win for setting up a new rig or just opting not to have dead cables going every which way.

Great when paired with a lower end Ryzen chip. The cables are lower quality but work well. They dont snap easily into the PSU so push hard and double check. For boards with 6 pin power connector, the 12 pin cable on this is designed to split in 2, which isnt apparent at first.

Its a corsair psu, it works just like the other one i had. I upgraded from cs850m simply to get rid of the ketchup and mustard 24-pin. Great units as per usual from corsair.

My buddy asked me to why i choose a fully modular PSU if my case has a shroud. I told him, i get a lot for its price so why not. Getting to the point, this PSU is beefy and well built. Id suggest getting this so that youll still have wiggle room in the future if you wanna upgrade. The fan doesnt even turn on if youre not hitting the threshold.

Was building my new pc, I hooked up the psu and got ready to test it out to make sure all was working. Nothing. I was worried it was the mobo at first, but I put a different psu into my pc and worked like a charm. It sucks because I had limited time to build my pc, as I rarely have days off from work. I had to run to the nearest Best Buy that night to buy ANOTHER psu. Luckily that one worked. This was a waste of money. Never buying a Corsair psu again.

Its a nice little power supply. Its gold rate and it has like a 10 year warranty from a good company. There isnt much to dislike about it. You could probably take a star off because the cables are plastic-y and the powersupply doesnt match or something dumb. But at sale prices this thing is a very good value and works really well. I had no problems installing it into a Ryzen 7 setup to replace a 10 year old Corsair psu. They must be rebranding only quality stuff since the last one lasted through multiple hardware refreshes. Theres not a lot to say. It works and it seems pretty good.

Performance-wise, cant say anything negative about the power supply. Rock-solid voltages, 80+ Gold and dead-silent. I dont think Ive ever heard the fan. Plus, beautiful white for white builds.

It works but it does have a bit of a smell to it a light kinda electric burn smell would be best description. I highly recommend letting it run over night post installation to make sure that its all good. Could just be new part smell but cant be to careful.
