Corsair RMX White Series (2018), RM850x, 850 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply - White, 80 PLUS Gold (CP-9020188-NA)

First time building a PC, but it seems like I hit the spot with everything. This power supply is really great. I really dont have anything else to compare it to, but it doesnt make a peep; which seems to be an issue to some people.

The power supply looks awesome. The white cables look great, Im very happy with the sleeves. Ive had no problems so far but with a 10 year warranty I doubt Ill need to worry. Only problem: slight coil whine when off, and the back plug is VERY sensitive. By sensitive, I mean knock it over by a millimeter and the whole system shuts off. If you dont knock your computer around though itll be perfectly fine

Works as advertised

Installed super easy plugged in what I needed fairly easy but this psu does output some sort of smell when its on smells like a power supply lol

This is my first Corsair PSU and it works just fine. The sleeved cables and them being white are nice, but certain ones like the 24pin still are a bit stiff and inflexible, which make them a nuisance for cable management. The noise levels are pretty quiet but not completely silent from my usage. Even though this PSU is overkill for my build, it comes with plenty of cables as well. Overall, I would say this is one of the higher end 80+ gold PSUs out there, so youre definitely getting your moneys worth.

Although this power supply was recommended for the specific build i was attempting once fully assembled the power supply completely fried all of my hardware except for the hard drives, so a motherboard/graphics card are completely done

A little pricey because it’s the white version, but otherwise great. Also stays cool

I didnt plug the wires to the psu and struggled a whole lot more because of that. That power supply is much more massive than i thought it would be, which is a + to me. I love the smell it had when i took it out the box. Super clean look and design, dont forget to use the screws in the box with the wires (its in a small plastic bag).

Really liked that this psu is completely modular. My last build I used one that was labeled as modular but had two hard wired cables, one of which I never used and it just collected dust in the case. This one was interesting in that the fan is only supposed to kick in under heavy load

This was what I needed for my gaming PC. Easy to install and it is very silent too!
