    After hooking everything up and double checking my connections I flip the power switch and nothing lit up (usually my mobo will light up) so I tried hitting the power button on my pc case and after triple checking all my connections and trying to power it on again for the 5th time it turned on and immediately saw 4 or 5 sparks go up through my case where my fans are. So ALL of my fans got fried and my AIO pump and all stopped working.

    Compact and quiet. I cant believe how loud my computer was until I installed this power supply. Flat cables are really nice and the hybrid fan is super quiet change my computers noise level completely.

    I received the wrong versión of this product, I was expecting to receive the RM850x which is an updated version and better quality components including the fan, but I got the RM850 instead which is $100 cheaper.

    For anyone going for the super clean custom build, this may not be a good choice. If I had to do it again, Id buy a standard color fully modular PSU and then spend a little extra for the CableMod kit that has the nice nylon fabric coated wires with the comb dividers. Its hard to tell from the pic here on Amazon, but these are just white colored plastic coated and do not look nearly as nice as the CableMod ones...

    The RMx series are some of the best PSUs out there, no argument, and the white version just looks so good. The only negatives I have for this unit are how ungodly stiff the sleeved cables are and that the plug-in labeling could be made more user friendly for less experienced builders.

    Ive had my i7 system running 24/7 for almost a week now, so I think I can say that this power supply works. At 850 watts, it should be sufficient to provide power to my motherboard, graphics card, ssds, etc. with no problems, and it seems totally silent.
