Although the unit itself works ok, I was forced to use the crappy cables that came with the PSU other than my really nice cables.

Love the look but came out of the package with malfunctioning 6-pin PCIe power ports. All other connectors worked well but could not deliver enough power for my gtx 1060.

Everything was great except the stock power cables. They looked super cheap and tacky. I bought a white sleeved cable kit so that made up for it.

The first thing that sets this power supply apart from others is the heavyweight metal housing, and the tough black powder coating. OEM and budget power supplies come housed in flimsy metal, so CORSAIR has an immediate advantage in the visual and tactile quality test. Looks and feel arent everything, but theyre a good start. Also, by personal choice, I am a big fan of the clean black appearance with only white for labeling, and the all-black cables included. It really adds to the look of a finished build; gone are the rainbow cables from the past.

Good product

The RMx series are some of the best PSUs out there, no argument, and the white version just looks so good. The only negatives I have for this unit are how ungodly stiff the sleeved cables are and that the plug-in labeling could be made more user friendly for less experienced builders.

Super simple install, quiet, and zero issues so far.
