Although I was hoping this would speed up my computer, it doesnt like my processor. I was unaware that it only works on the intel i3, i5, and i7, along with the AMD phantom II (or at least thats what it says on the box). I currently have a AMD 2nd Gen quad core. A buddy of mine has a i5, so I put it in his computer and worked excellent, he got upset when I told him he couldnt have it unless he gave me $100.

The memory specs of this machine is one confusing, cause in the manufacturer info says that the max. of memory that the Lenovo Ideacentre K410 (1168) is 8Gb (2 X 4Gb). But others websites that sell RAM says that is 16Gb (2 X 8Gb), so I decide to prove that and buy this memory kit with heat spread and bingo!!!, my pc is fully loaded at MAX with 16Gb, feel the difference, the response is excellent.

Grabbed this for my custom build, so I cant give an honest comparison to an old one. It keeps up with pc gaming, so I highly recommend this. Trusted brand, great results.

The heat sinks do a great job of maintaining acceptable heat levels inside the box. This set provides good memory capacity for running Win 8 Pro.

For me reliability is important. I have never had any problem with Corsair products. I build a new PC about every 5 or 6 years. Corsair has never let me down. Its possible, there could be a few bad apples coming out of the factory, for me it never has happened. One bad apple doesnt spoil the whole bunch. Corsair, for quality.

Its 16 GB, the price is fair, the design is as attractive as it is functional and you can over-clock it without much of a hassle. Im quite happy with its performance!

This is a limitation of a 32-bit operating system. In Windows, the Windows memory manager is limited to a 4 GB physical address space. Most of that address space is filled with RAM, but not all of it. Memory-mapped devices (such as your video card) will use some of that physical address space, as will the BIOS ROMs. After all the non-memory devices have had their say, there will be less than 4GB of address space available for RAM below the 4GB physical address boundary. MacOS X Tiger and Leopard are both 64-bit operating systems and will not experience this problem. Neither will 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7.
