It didnt super charge my computer or revolutionize how i do a single thing, but it is useful for my every day tasks. I just needed 16GB instead of 8GB and this fit the bill.

Pros: Blue, inexpensive, blue, reliable, blue, fast, blue, stable, blue, no memory errors, did I mention they are blue colored? Looking at these I can imagine they are my own little versions of the T.A.R.D.I.S. taking me to worlds and times that can hardly be described. But I digress. My apologies. Both sticks have worked admirably.

This memory appeared to have a problem straight out of the box. One stick didnt want to boot up the computer but the other one would. The strange part was that wasnt true every time tried it. So with both installed even though it would work with a little bit of pushing with games etc. I would get blue screen. I know Amazon would have replaced the one stick not working with no issue, but there also seemed to be a compatibility issue with the mother board we are using by other reviews online. Choose to return completely and go with another brand all together. That seemed to fix both issues.

    No issues

This is a limitation of a 32-bit operating system. In Windows, the Windows memory manager is limited to a 4 GB physical address space. Most of that address space is filled with RAM, but not all of it. Memory-mapped devices (such as your video card) will use some of that physical address space, as will the BIOS ROMs. After all the non-memory devices have had their say, there will be less than 4GB of address space available for RAM below the 4GB physical address boundary. MacOS X Tiger and Leopard are both 64-bit operating systems and will not experience this problem. Neither will 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7.
