18-11-2024This stuff combined w/ a Samsung SSD took the WEI on my laptop from 3.7 to 6.7 just like that. And the only thing holding it back now is that it is indeed a laptop and doesnt have discrete gfx. Laptop dualbooting win7 and Linux Mint. Runs Mint like a dream using Mate and Compiz. Windows scaling and workspace switching despite having 22 different programs with associated files open along w/ 10 tabs spread across 2 windows each in both Chrome and Firefox open at the same time (2 of which were different Youtube videos in 1080p on each browser) and it handles it like Jack Bauer handles interrogations (Like a boss, duh!). Corsair quality, Vengeance performance. You pay for it sure, but it is sooooooooo worth every penny. If youre on the fence about a ram upgrade and are considering this but dont wanna shell out the extra coin for it... let me be the one that helps you make the decision. It is worth it. EVERY. PENNY. This lets me handle some linux gaming while Im building some source and it does it without breaking a sweat.
