Well these sticks of ram worked good for a few months but quickly took a crap, so now im back to using the ram that came with my system.

Working perfectly in a 2017 27 iMac with the original RAM still in place. Just slotted the new SODIMMs into the open slots between the existing RAM and closed it up. Very easy to do and a huge improvement in running multiple iOS simulators while developing.

I purchased this locally (Sorry, Amazon) for about $10 more, which is less than I would otherwise pay for next day delivery. I had read mixed reports of whether the Asus K55a laptop supported 16GB RAM, but this RAM works perfectly in the system. I ran several applications and heavy resource games and had no troubles whatsoever with the memory. Window 8.1 now runs with only around 1.5-2.5GB RAM used out of the 16GB, including Intel 4000 graphics shared memory when idle.

The first set of sticks sent to me was bad. Well, one of them were according to memtest on my Late 2011 Macbook Pro. So I initiated an exchange with Amazon and I had my second set of sticks in two days! (I Love Amazon). I installed the two sticks, ran memtest in single user mode on my Macbook. (hold down CMD+S during bootup before the chime). You have to install memtest first. Just google it. So, I ran it 3 times. I ran (memtest all -L 3) It runs the test 3 times to let the computer and RAM heat up, some errors might not show up unless the computer is at higher operating temps. They all came back normal as the old 2 sticks came back with an error within 3 minutes. Macbook has been cruising ever since with no lockups or kernel dumps. I had 8 GIG of Corsair before this and never had a problem with that either. Cant go wrong with this kit. I had bad luck with a bad batch initially but this wasnt first time nor will it be the last. Thank the goddess for Amazons amazing return policies.

I chose this over T-Force, T-Force RAM was actually slightly cheaper and faster (Ram speed 3200).

One of the memories dont work, I tried in 5 different laptops. The other one works fine. In the end I got only 4gb!
