First of all, I got this RAM for my partners AMD computer build. This turned out to be a mistake: somehow, this RAM is architecture-dependent and only works on intel motherboards! Ive never ever bought RAM that is like that. But, I thought, No problem, Ill just take 16gb out of my intel computer and use this in mine! But then, I figure out, it must be overclocked to run anywhere near 3000MHz advertised. The units ran at 2133MHz to start out.
