I got the plastic case, which is not bad, it protrudes from the screen, which helps protects the screen, which is good but no as good as I though it would be, I would try the silicon case

This is not aluminum! I was expecting a metal case but it is plastic. One thing that I really did not like is the packaging it was taped all over the place and it was horribly package and I had a big sticker on it that said new material I don’t know what they mean by that but I was very upset.

Product was shipped fast with Prime, got here in 2 days exactly. My son immediately put it on his Vita, he didnt have any problems with it snapping on or anything, fits perfect. Kinda snug fit around the buttons, my fingers would have trouble trying to press one button only, but for my son (10yrs) his fingers are a perfect fit for it. Looks cool on and not to bulky.

Worst cover case ever it doesnt even fit the PS vita

Day one this cover worked perfectly. Only until maybe a few weeks later one side of the back plate that your fingers go on fell off. I glued it back but it came off again. But i really liked this cover, and its pretty inexpensive so im going to order another. Im not going to scrutinize the item and say This is horrible because of this and that. But lets face it, even the best products break eventually. In my opinion this is a quality cover.

Works great & feels sturdy enough for a light drop. Only downfall is that the Start, Select & Power buttons are hard to get to. Content with my purchase.

This case is pretty cheap an offers pretty good protection, Ive dropped it a few times and my vita still is not damaged, though over time (Its been almost two years now?) a few of the plastic locks that hold the case together have broken so now when I drop it the case pretty much sucks up the initial shock then pops open. Ive been lucky so far that it hasnt gotten any scratches after popping open but I do feel like I have to be extra careful. And the case also looks pretty cool as well, and it makes it a little easier not to accidentally touch the back panels. For the price id say it was a good buy considering after all this time im still using the thing.

I couldnt actually fit it on my vita (i have the 2000 model) so I am returning mine, but as for the construction, it seems pretty sturdy and I also love the look of it. I only wish I was able to use it, but it did not come with an instruction manual or anything, so I couldnt figure out how to put it on. It also lightly scratched my vita while i was trying to put it on :(

This whole case is made out of plastic. The only thing that is metalic on the entire case is two spots where your fingers rest on the back half. It would be a decent case if I was looking for a plastic shell for my vita, but I wanted a metal case and this is definitely not it.
