Bought this to replace a lifetime warranties Stanley. This 1 is very accurate, handles well and sight bubbles are easy to read. Last unit was an I-beam style, but this box beam Craftsman feels so much better.

ACCURACY

I checked for level and plumb by using a horizontal and vertical surface and then flipping 180° and checking again. The bubbles were perfect. I didnt check the 45° bubble but I suspect it is perfect as well. The bottom plane is milled aluminum for straightness and durability (see picture). It also has two magnets embedded in the aluminum for ease of use on steel objects like washers, dryers, stoves, et cetera. The bottom plane is the only plane that should be used for measuring plumb, level and 45°.

Light weight and very easy to the bubble

Ive used this for picture frames, decals, wall art, and much more. Its very handy.

Perfect for small jobs and will fit in a carpenters apron and stores easily in small spaces or bins. Great for hanging pictures or aligning objects with one another.

I enjoyed getting an empty box with a hole in it. I hope someone chokes on my level. Craftsman doesnt even respond. Last time I buy craftsman
