It works great in my center console and lights up so i can see where to plug into when its dark.

I was looking to find a car adapter that could fit nicely into the lighter socket; even one that has a rubber protector/stopper that flips out but stays attached. Another adapter I had having large shoulders cant be put into that socket without permanently removing (cutting off?) the protective stopper which I did not want to do. When inserted, the front of this adapter is not only flush (doesnt protrude), it actually remains slightly recessed in my truck panel. Looks great & plenty of room to leave the flip out stopper attached. My only concern is that it will be tough to remove this from the socket without marring it. I dont think Ill ever need to do that until it (inevitably, one day) burns out. Then Ill grab it by the USB ports to get it out which will likely permanently damage them. Note, as expected, the rubber flip cover cant be closed over the inserted adapter.

The charger is well made and should last a long time. Small enough it does not stick up very high out of the base . Does a great job.

Saw the product on Amazon and read the reviews. Looked really good and worth a try. So I ordered a pair which arrived the next day. Plugged them in and they work. Need met and hopefully for a long time. Easy to use inside auto compartment due to light. So far no problems!

Love that it doesn’t interfere with my radio like cheap grocery store car chargers do.
