Boden tube is great but the little cheap cutter that comes with it....is GOLD!! Love that cutter.

I am so glad I purchased this kit. Repairing my printer has been a real pain, and something I have been dreading for months now. I made a few mistakes with this kit, and have killed most of its nozzles. That being said, the Bowden tube has been a godsend. I forgot that I still had a sizable amount of the tube left from last time I cut it, and it was just what I needed when I worked on fixing my printer. I’m still optimizing things, but thanks to this purchase, my future of 3D printing looks much brighter.

Exactly what I expected.

We all know capricorn tubing is the Cadillac, so I wont review the products. Its the shipping that loses a star. They shipped the compression fittings and the new nozzles in the same small ziplock bag. All the banging around caused the nozzles to deform at the tip. They are unusable. Its not a deal breaker, as I really just wanted them tubing, but extra nozzles are always good to have. For a few pennies, stick them in some foam or even tape them to a scrap piece of cardboard. Otherwise, the fittings, the cutter, and the extra silicone pieces are welcome in my spare parts box.

This was really easy to install, and works great. The nozzle that it comes with appears to be a little better than the stock one too.

PC4-M10 Pneumatic Fitting is recessed on the inside and thin walled. When you install this on the extruder it makes it near impossible to feed new filament through it. The tip of the filament will just hit the edge of the lip left on the inside. You can see the new fitting in the photo (top) compared to the old fitting I luckily still had (bottom).

I dont understand how this works for people. The inner diameter is so small that it keeps the filament from extruding smoothly and eventually just stops extruding all together. Then you have to take it apart to get the filament out which is not an easy task because, again, the tube is so small. Ive tried everything to try to get this to work (new nozzle, new extruder, different techniques people swear work but actually dont, etc.) and it just doesnt work ever. Ive had significantly more problems since upgrading to this than I did before. At least then I could get some prints. I havent had a successful one since I installed this thing.

Fixed the problem with easy.. Easy to install and change out all parts.
