Cricket heat press was a must for my small business. This company never disappoints. All of my craft machines etc including material is from Criket. Love it

My wife got this for a Christmas present. She had previously used a regular iron for transferring to t shirts. This one takes all the guesswork out of ironing on transfers. Before, it was hard to tell if you had pressed the iron on long enough, and the edges of transfers would sometimes have to be redone to prevent the transfer from lifting up. No problems any more. This item is super simple to use, set the time and temp, and youre good to go. It is fairly heavy, which is good, but be aware.

I originally bought this back in April and finally took it out of the box 2 weeks ago to set it up in my craft room. I read the reviews good and bad, and I ended up having problems after using the press 3 times in 2 days. It fried. I had read some negative reviews about Cricut Customer Service being horrible. That was NOT the case at all, after about an hour wait on the phone, I finally was able to speak to a customer service rep who went above and beyond to help me. He gave me instructions on what to do, I sent the necessary video and proof of purchase and received my new heat press today! All this took 2 weeks. I have my new heat press which works perfectly and I am able to continue my Cricut crafting. This is why I gave a five star review, I hope it helps others who may have this problem going forward.

I purchased my Easy Press 2 in December of 2018, and was absolutely delighted...for the first 3 months. After that, I noticed ALL shirts I used HTV on would have vinyl peeling like a sticker during the first time wearing. Trying my own trouble shooting, I purchased an infrared thermometer and discovered that the press was heating not only radically unevenly throughout the heat plate, but it was also 60-80 DEGREES LOWER than what the display on the machine read. (Siser easy weed HTV presses at 315°F, but I have to set my machine to 385°F to get the machine to actually reach 315) Since I was over the allotted time that Amazon allows returns, I went through Cricut. After jumping through hoops (they required me to shoot a video showing the failure), the Cricut representative informed me that my infrared thermometer was wrong due to the reflective nature of the heat plate (sidenote: thats not how infrared works- to test my sanity, I used the thermometer to read a mirror and the wall beside it, and it was only a 2 degree difference). Cricuts customer service refused to do ANYTHING despite the fact I had only had my machine a few months, and they kept INSISTING that my thermometer was wrong. Bear in mind the fact that if my Easy Press 2 was actually heating at 385°F (as the readout shows) it should havr completely singed my shirts and melted my vinyl. Some of you may be thinking, So, just set it to 385°. Thats actually exactly what I have been doing. However, this problem seems to be degenerative. Every couple of weeks, I have to bump my set temp another 5 degrees to achieve the desired 315°F. At this rate, Im going to max out at the highest setting with no where to go within a month. Once that sad but inevitable day arrives, the machine will achieve its destiny of being my households most expensive and oversized paperweight. Despite my experience, the reviews for this model continues to be outstanding. I cant help but wonder if I got a very rare lemon, or if everyones glowing reviews are given too soon. I LOVE the portability and ease of this product, but if it wont heat enough to actually adhere my HTV, it really serves no purpose.

I bought this 8months ago and just now started using it. It had been in box until last few weeks. Now getting E3 error. Frustrating since the return window is way past due. I would not purchase this again. Buyer beware. Spend a little more on a clamp press!!

Much easier than breaking out the big heat press when you have a small order that needs to go out. It works great.

I bought this to make shirts for my family and so far, I have not been disappointed. It works great for making T-shirt’s with heat transfer vinyl. The size is good for most sized shirts and is easy to use on bigger ones as well. The settings on the press are easy to use as well and durable. You can easily set the time and temperature and it alerts you when the temperature has been reached. It also has a timer that can be adjusted for accurate pressing time. Highly recommend for the home crafter!

I love this! I use to use an iron and I actually didn’t think I needed this but now that I have it I will never go back to an iron! This is so easy to use and the iron on turns out beautiful! Definitely worth it. I do recommend this.

I liked how hot the press got. I use it for machine fusible applique and works well for that.
