I first purchased an off-brand scooting tool to use with my Cricut Explorer Air 2 but had to return because it was tearing my paper (I.e. couldn’t get it to sit properly to be at the correct depth). Returned that purchase and bought the Cricut brand. Wow….such great scoring lines. So easy to bend my paper. The line is deep enough for a great fold of 80lb cardstock on the cardstock setting. Worth the extra money to get a proper fit.

Im using this with an Explore Air 2 and you just pop it in when the machine asks for it and away it goes scoring. Way easier than scoring myself as I always ended up scoring too hard or too lightly and this does just right.

Used to score Christmas cards . Exactly what I needed .

Easy enough to use, but it sticks up much higher than the cricut for some reason. Therefore you have to remove it every time or leave the cricut open. Could leave a stronger score, but overall, gets the job done.

Wife wanted this to make Cards with. Came in the factory packaging and works as it should.

I wish it would score a little deeper... but that is in the control of the cricut, not this stylus. This works exactly as it was designed to - and folding any paper crafts without it is chaos!

Like other reviews stated, it doesnt score strongly enough. I often redo the scores with my ruler and knife. I also have to run the score lines repeatedly in the machine. I double up in the design program and then before ejecting the paper I tell it to run again since the score happens first. This seems to help a tiny bit with increasing the score lines. Im a graphic designer and I know to get a great score you have to break the paper fibers 1/3 - 1/2 the way into the paper. This just puts pressure on the fibers but doesnt actually break them, so the score will never be as good as you can do by hand.

This tool fits within the tool holder normally reserved for a pen. Due to this, you can cut and score without having to change out tools. I have used it a few times already and it works very well.

The scoring stylus does exactly what it says. I have made projects with my Cricut from cards to cootie catchers for my son. The stylus is easy to install and adds another function to the already amazing Cricut machines. Well worth the price!
