> 3 dayCrucial is one of the biggest players in the SSD market due to their ability to use their own NAND chips, which are manufactured by their parent company Micron. The Crucial BX500 SSD was announced just a few weeks ago, and everybody expected it to use the new QLC flash technology. This isnt the case, though. The Crucial BX500 is built around Micron TLC flash and a Silicon Motion SM2258 controller in the XT variant.

> 3 dayA meno di 40€ va anche bene. Sul sito si naviga male, si rischia di scaricare un sw molto pesante che non serve a nulla. Poi finalmente si scopre il sw x clonazione ma è poco user friedly e spigato male. Meglio un sw free di terze parti. Per il resto fa quel che deve purchè si prenda a prezzo scontato.

> 3 dayThe ssd itself has a really clean look, which is nice if your ssd is visible in your case. Performance wise it is really fast for a 2.5 inch ssd and is easy to install. Although there are better ssd’s for this price range. If you can with your motherboard I would recommend getting an nvme ssd sense it is noticeably faster for around the same price. Definitely would recommend.

> 3 dayIve been using it as an external SSD with my Macbook air M1 and it was really easy to install and the capacity is huge. However, it isnt fast as I expected but not impossible to work with. I cant rate it for gaming but for digital art and photography, it works great!

> 3 dayI was asked to upgrade my daughters friends computer, it was taking forever to load Windows, about 10 minutes before it could be used. Did the usual clean up & defrag, got it booting faster but I had already mentioned about upgrading to SSD. They wanted it done so I ordered this Crucial for them.
