Very durable and works effortlessly.

I upgraded to the Crucial BX500 drive because I needed more storage, going from 1TB to 2TB. But, I now wish I had stayed with Samsung. Although it started off fast, it eventually slowed down to a frustrating 25 MB/s, thermal throttling(?). I was moving my steam files from my old drive to the new one and it just took too long, checking Teracopy we started off fast and now were down to 25MB/s.... If you check out other reviews, youll see that this throttling issue is a common problem, with many 3-star and 1-star reviews mentioning it. Unfortunately, it seems like Crucial doesnt stand by their product either. I hope this review helps others avoid the same headache. If you only need the drive for storing photos or something similar, a traditional HDD might be a better choice instead of an SSD because this drive is slow and youll get more storage space for your money buying an HDD. 25 MB/s is not acceptable performance, not even for an HDD.

Drive only lasted 2 months before it corrupted every file on it, and tried taking my other drives with it.

I liked how it was packaged. Everything came out as expected. Easy hook up.

I needed to replace a failed Winchester spinner in a computer, and this did the trick. Same size, so I was able to use Clonezilla and get the computer back up and running by cloning another computer just like the one this drive went into. Great value!

Sur un pc portable I3 1.7 GHz 8mo de Ram, windows 10.

I have been using this SSD for 2 months now and experience so far is good. I have Interl i3 3rd generation laptop and 8 GB RAM and this SSD works perfectly fine for Turning On your laptop quickly, working on MS office tasks (all) , Chrome tabs etc.
