Didn’t come with an adapter like it does from the crucial website. Luckily I didn’t need one for my laptop. Might be a different issue with other people.

Threw this in a 2012 MacBook pro (without retina display) and it makes it run like new! Super fast load speeds! Not sure what though since I havent ran any tests yet. Also, battery life from this thing has been running for an eternity!

Started having problems in about 10 months for me. Random system freezes on my Dell laptop. Tried OS re-install, same problem. There are known firmware bugs in these drives that have workarounds in the Linux kernel - no firmware updates from Crucial. See the Debian wiki page for SSD Optimization. On the Debian wiki, theres a link to source code from the kernel that specifically disables certain features of the drive including the ability to trim the file system! Used to be a big crucial fan, but I swapped to a WD blue in the laptop and have zero problems now. May be ok for Windows users, but this drive is a big no-no on Linux.
