Die Platte sollte als Systemlaufwerk (Betriebssystem und Anwendungen) eingesetzt werden, hat dann aber doch einen gravierenden Nachteil gezeigt: Im Zugriff auf viele kleine Dateien nicht wirklich schnell, denn es fehlt zur teureren MX-Reihe der Cache. Für eine reine Datenplatte ist die Kapazität (240GB) schlicht nicht ausreichend, wofür aber die Platte nichts kann... obwohl... eine derart kleine Platte macht eigentlich nur als Systemlaufwerk Sinn, oder?

This was easy to install, reads and writes data fast and is reliable. Recommended!

Bought for a new build and it works very well. Gets well over 500MB/s for sequential and write and Im very impressed with it so far. Only been running it for a few days so cant speculate on longevity or indeed performance when drive is full. Id definitely buy this again, however.
