18-11-2024I replaced the HDD in my HP Pavilion x360 model 13-a010dx with this Crucial BX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5-Inch Internal SSD to give me additional storage as well as speed up this aging 2014 era computer. I also added a 4 GB DDR3 memory stick to bring the memory up to the maximum 8 GB. Good experience all the way around. Found a YouTube video for this specific model laptop and covered exactly the items I was needing to upgrade. Used the Acronis True Image cloning software that is easily downloaded for the Crucial SDD. Very satisfied.

> 3 dayNo issues so far. I used Macrium Reflect to image from my old drive to this one. Worked great. Just had to extend the partition when I was done. It’s very fast and made a huge difference in boot time.

> 3 dayA great boost to loading speed, I have wanted to upgrade to an SSD for my desktop PC for quite a while but several things have always stopped me taking the plunge. Firstly I was unsure of the size of drive I wanted or could afford to get, my internal drive is 1tb but I have only ever used around 220gig of that capacity, secondly and probably the main reservation being I wanted it to be a simple clean process cloning my drive so I could just continue with exactly the same setup but with greater drive speeds.
