Unfortunately does Not come with a spacer for 9.5 or 12mm. Crucial dont make one either. If needed, you will need to pad the drive with foam or similar. If the drive comes in a cady (e.g. Dell Vostro 3570) they you are good to go. Does Not come with clone software.

Lo compré solo para instalar el SO y algunos programas básicos (office, los launchers de Steam, Epic y Uplay, etc) con mi HDD anterior la PC tardaba minutos en estar lista, los programas tardaban un poco en abrir y no fluían tanto como con este SSD, ahora la PC en 15 segundos está lista para usarse y me encanta. También los programas se instalan mucho más rápido que antes, sin duda volvería a comprarlo.

Replaced the hard drive in an aging/slowing HP laptop. Process went smoothly and I appreciated the simplicity of the free Acronis True Image software that was provided through the Crucial website. Noticeable performance improvement in all areas of use. Hard drive no longer shows 100% usage in Windows task manager, in fact it barely registers now. With SSD prices as low as there are now, it was an easy decision. I already owned a USB 3.0 to 2.5” SATA Hard Drive Adapter which can be purchased here for well under $20 and is needed to facilitate the cloning process.

Bought this drive to replace a failed HDD in my (mid-2012) Macbook Pro. This is my first experience with SSD and the first thing I noticed was just how light it was. Replaced the drives with ease and managed to rescue the Macbook with a fresh OSX install. The second thing I love is how quiet it is. The old drive wasnt exactly loud, but I am very aware of how quiet this one is. There is now a noticeable difference in the speed of my Macbook.
