Very good SSD for the price. Way better than Kingston A400 which is also dram-less. It’s only default is the plastic casing which makes it run a little bit hotter than its MX500 cousin which has metal casing (45~50C vs 35~40C) but not overheating or thermal throttling in any way. Perfect for replacing old hard drive in existing PC.

Die gute Anleitung zunächst bei der Auswahl der SSD (mit der Aussage: Ist für Ihren PC geeignet) und die ausführlichen Videos zur Vorbereitung (Klonen der alten Startpartition) und Installation der SSD hatte mich bewogen, diese SSD (240 GB) zu kaufen. Vervollständigt wird der Kauf durch die kostenlose Software von Acronis für den Klone-Vorgang. Sie kann auch später für Backups genutzt werden.

This SSD is very fast. I installed in my HP Pavilion 12Gb Ram and computer is blazing fast now. I can tell the difference. With the other HDD, which was in good shape, my laptop would boot in about three minutes. With this one, it does not take more than 15 seconds to boot. For cloning I would recommend Macrium Reflect free version. It works well. Maybe one trick is that after you insert the SSD it would be good to have a fresh install.

Cercavo un SSD in grado di rimpiazzare il vecchio Hard Disk su un portatile che uso poco e che avesse un buon prezzo. Certo, installando qualche programma un po pesante avrete a disposizione circa 20 GB di storage. Ecco perché non faccio quasi mai aggiornamenti di sistema, per tutto il resto cè il cloud. Crucial é una garanzia come al solito, lho preferito al diretto concorrente della Kingston per le prestazioni superiori pur essendo un prodotto di fascia bassa nella linea Crucial.

Acquistato sei mesi fa per sostituire un Hard Disk meccanico, mi ha consentito di recuperare un vecchio portatile Toshiba che, nonostante la reinstallazione pulita di Win10, risultava ormai troppo lento.
