Used in my Win10 NVR server, and the only data being written to it was a steady 5kb/s for 3 years of influxdb logging. Drive became unbearably slow but didnt actually lose any data, but so slow windows took an hour+ to get to the desktop. No CRC errors or event logs, seems like something in the controller chip is failing. Was able to migrate but took several hours to read ~120gb, with a lot of slowdowns to 3-5mb/s then picking back up to 480+. 11 minutes to write the cloned image to a new MX500 which works fine. Still a Crucial fan, but Ill avoid the BX series..

Lho installato su un Notebook Asus x541u. Non è stato semplicissimo smontare il notebook ma una volta riuscito linstallazione del nuovo hd ssd è stata semplicissima. Le guide di crucial per clonare il vecchio hd sono fenomenali. È stato tutto abbastanza semplice per uno come me che non ha mai smontato un pc

Facile installazione e intuitiva.

This is a great budget SSD for replacing mechanical HDD as a boot drive. Used heavily for over 2 years now with no issues. Cut boot time on mechanical drive from over 1 1/2 minutes to under 20 secs. Would look for one with at least $250 Gb storage under $50 now. Great replacement for mechanical HDD in budget computer or laptop if you can find one with at least 250 GB capacity under $50.
