I bought this and installed in my mothers laptop. It is more room than she needed and it definitely solved the sluggish pace that had become the norm. I definitely recommend and will update if any problems were to arise.

I first bought one of these to replace my laptops HDD, and it made my laptop 10x better. I recently bought another for my PS4 and it reduces load times in menus and certain games immensely.

Bought this for my Dads creaking laptop and it is now noticeably faster. When I installed the SSD first the Windows 10 installation process wuldnt recognise drive, so to remedy this was merely a matter of disabling the security features in the BIOS settings of the motherboard. This was set by default to prevent unauthorised operating system installations.

I replaced an old 500 GB HDD with this SSD and the disk cloning was a breeze with the included Acronis tool. The performance leap is awesome so I turned an old laptop into a fast running machine for my son at a very low cost. Very happy with it!

I use these drives for backups and long term storage of pictures and data, so I have a master file and a duplicate of the master as a backup to the master. These drives are good as a USB external in a housing or USB external with cables and no housing, or they can be used internally as the main drive, or they can be used in an external duplicator (like startech). Anyway you use them, they are great drives with excellent read write times at a good price.

Package improve

The HDD drives are dead and unreliable. One bump and they are done. As the case as to why i changed mind to the SSD. THe speed could be better. Although maybe there is a way to index the files to get faster results.
