This drive is a lot smaller but so much faster.

Lo compré para mejorar el rendimiento de un PC I5 que tenía un HDD mecánico. El cambio ha sido increíble, de iniciar en 2 minutos a 20sg. Al ser Crucial te regalan el programa Acronis para Crucial el cual te permite clonar el HDD en el SSD de manera que luego solo tienes que sustituir uno por otro y ya está. El cambio se nota nada mas iniciar por el poco tiempo que tarda y todas las operaciones de copiar y pegar, instalar, etc van muy rápido.

So far so good. Works as expected.

My very old Crucial MX100 SSD was showing signs of age in a Mac mini. Bought a WD Green SSD to replace, but this was disappointingly slow even compared to an old MX100. Returned the WD Green and bought a Crucial MX500 - should have done this in the first place! Only a bit more expensive than the WD Green SSD and so much faster. A good upgrade over the original MX100 drive.

I upgraded my partners pc with this as it was so slow, around 5 mins for a boot up. This sped that up to around 1. Very quick and easy to install, just follow the instructions they give you. The size was good but thats its only down size, it price is a lot for what it is.

You may think you do not need an SSD until you buy and install one in your PC.

It fit well & made my older laptop super fast

A no-brainer upgrade on a circa 2010 Toshiba M645-S4070 laptop.
