Not a high end nvme drive but has so far performed as I expected. Easy to install and straight forward.

I bought the P1 SSD because it looked like a great amount of reasonably fast storage and a good price. Initial install was easy in a Lenovo P51 laptop. I cloned my OEM drive using Macrium 7 but then could not get the drive to boot up. It turned out I needed a driver named Standard NVME driver from Microsoft. The P1 apparently did not like the Samsung NVME driver. I proceeded to use the P1 SSD for a few days but then started to have trouble. The drive would disappear from Windows and I would have to reboot. Sometimes it would seem to stop and drive tool I use would report I/O errors. After a day or two of this I returned the drive to Amazon for a refund and spent an extra $100 for a Samsung EVO 970 PLUS NVMe SDD. Install was easy, speed is great and no problems so far. I am partial to Crucial drives as I have many of them but the P1 did not work out for me.

The drive failed in under a year

Ho comprato questa ssd per una build di un mio amico, e già solo configurando Windows ho trovato sorprendente la velocità con cui caricasse e scaricasse. A differenza delle controparti ugualmente costose, questa riesce a raggiungere velocità ai livelli delle mvme samsung, strapagate in confronto.

Die P1 ist 3 x schneller als eine normale SATA SSD

Insbesondere im Anfangsbereich langsamer als eine SSD, ist das eventuell der mit Daten belegte Speicher?
