Great for gaining extra speed in your SSD storage. This newer NAND PCIe M.2. is very good. It is much faster than older drives. So easy to install. The value of these drives as the price has come down it exceptional. I have always liked Crucial products and havent had many problems with their chips in the past. They have excellent customer service and warranty service. Works great in the MSI X99S.

This is an overall good value. Not quite market leading performance for nvme drive but neither is it market leading price. Perfect in between in all ways. That being said, do NOT put these in a laptop. It WILL overheat and throttle to near HDD performance or, in my case, just stop entirely. Unfortunately had to switch them to the desktop in which they worked just fine.
