I installed this into my gaming machine. I already had a 1TB crucial SSD in it with my OS and games on it. Being a huge tech nerd, I just had to fill my M.2 socket, and when this went on sale, it had to be mine. I proceeded to migrate my Steam games over to it. I have yet to play any games off of it as I am renovating my kitchen, but while I was working hard, my PC was not because it took all the data I needed to copy over and did it fast. I dont have real world numbers for you, but it is noticeably fast. I copied a 10GB movie from my regular SSD to the M.2 and Windows 10 told me I was getting 370MB/s. In comparison, when I did the same copy to my other drive, which is spinning disk from a laptop I replaced a year ago, I was getting 35MB/s. So solid state does make a huge difference. Also since this M.2 drive is so tiny, it doesnt make any extra heat. If it does, my PC doesnt register it. Great price, decent size storage, dang fast. Buy it.

My build is Ryzen 5 2600x 16 GB 3000mhz ram gigabyte b450 micro atx mobo. When I do a speed test on this ssd. I am getting read speeds of 1.5gb and write speeds of 1.3gb. so although is recons you will get around 2gb read write I dont mind it being a tiny bit slower. I dont even notice it to be fair :-)

My computer boots up so fast its not funny. It takes 3 seconds from the time I push power to the time everything loads up. It was easy to install as well. That said 1 gig is just not enough space you OS and a couple games and its full. Definitely get a larger hard drive for things you dont use as often.

Plugged this NVMe drive into a new build. I hadnt built a PC in years and while Im familiar with SSD drives, NVMe drives were brand new to me.

El rendimiento es muy bueno. 2000 MB/s en lectura secuencial y 1700Mb/s en escritura secuencial. Los juegos triple A los carga rapidísimo. Recomendado.

I was quite surprised when I saw this M.2 card. I have purchased Crucial memory for years and years, but never any M.2 from them. With the price noticeably lower than some other manufacturers, I thought I would try it out, but would probably be disappointed. Boy, was I wrong. No, this is not a Samsung 970 Pro. But to get the full benefit of a Samsung 970 Pro, you have to have three channels available for your M.2, and you have to put out a significant amount of cash. Im not knocking that: Ive bought a ton of Samsung SSDs and have been consistently happy with them. Its just that you need to understand that just purchasing their fastest drive isnt going to push you to their top rated speeds if your hardware doesnt support it (check before you lay down all that money). Ive got this Crucial card in an HP Z2 H4 along with a Samsung 850 EVO Sata drive, and things are just buzzing along brilliantly. If anything, I would upgrade the 850 EVO Sata. But for the price, this cant be beat. Its generally fast and has a full terabyte of space. How can we complain at this price? Five stars!

Supplies a lot of storage for my desktop. Which is nice because I really enjoy my gaming and I tend jump between games often. So the storage helps have a lot download without having to worry about space too much. Also it’s quick too.

Whether you are trying to get in the game faster or store all your precious memories, the Crucial P1 SSD delivers. Capacities start at 500GB and scale to 2TB. Accelerate performance with the latest NVMe PCIe technology. The P1 is designed to be the only storage upgrade you need — storage, speed, and dependability. Accelerate everything.
