Its exactly the same as Micron OEM in most gaming laptops. Crucial is a Micron Brand. get it before prices go up, there is an acute shortage of chips.

First and foremost an important tip. Idk if this happened to anyone else but once I removed the back of my case and exchanged my 4gb with the 8gb my laptop wouldnt turn on for worth a damn. I tried everything. You have to take a paper clip or pin and put it into the tiny hole over the battery and reset the battery, then it will power on. Very easy to put into a laptop or desktop even for noobs like me. Bumped the memory by 4 gas laptop runs faster and has more storage now.

I needed to increase the amount of main memory in my laptop (Lenovo V15-ADA) from 8GB to 12GB, because one of the games I run (Train Sim World 2, London Commuter DLC) was crashing to desktop because both RAM and Swap file were maxed out.

Dont believe this is a 16gb stick. Says 8 on it and doesnt even have the Crusial logo on the product. Ill need to return this for a replacement. Didnt know I was being sold a used product.
