Crystal Whiskey Glass, Set of 6, Clear, 6 Pack

The design is appealing, and does seem to concentrate the aroma of our single malt scotch. We use the glasses for other beverages also when we want only a smidgen, we like them so much. A couple of glasses are not completely flat inside at the bottom, which is especially noticeable with dark beverages and purely something aesthetic to mention. Otherwise they are very well made, sit level, have no blemishes or seams, and the etched words on the bottoms of the glasses is clear and easy to read: “the Glencairn glass”. Each glass was individually boxed, then all six were wrapped together with some plastic. The remainder will be easy to store still boxed, if you do not want to put all six on the shelf. We are very happy with this purchase.

If you enjoy tasting and appreciating the different notes of whiskey this is a must. Its affordable compared to other brands of glass. I did think that the shape of the glass was more of a marketing gimmick but after using it have discovered more depth to the whisky Ive been drinking.

There are those who think the glass from which you drink your beverage of choice really doesnt matter all that much. Dont listen to them. The size and shape of a glass can affect the surface area of the drink exposed to air, the flow of air through the mouth of the glass, and even the temperature of the drink depending on how much body heat is transferred when you hold the glass. You really do need the right glass for every drink. Ive come to the conclusion that the Glencairn is pretty much the perfect glass for whisky. The narrow mouth perfectly captures the whiskys aroma, the glass feels comfortable in the hand, and its appearance lends an elegant quality to the whisky experience. This set of six comes well-packaged in a box (just cardboard, albeit attractive cardboard) which is suitable both for shipping (mine arrived in perfect condition, which is always a point of concern when ordering glassware over the Internet) or for gifting. Every whisky lover should have a set.

These are designed to help with the nose of the alcohol. They are tulip-shaped for this reason. These are the best whisky tasting glasses you can get - Glencairn are the only ones any serious whisky drinker should have. They are crystal glasses and work great. Do you drink whisky out of a glass? This is a glass that you can drink whisky out of! Perhaps Im not as sophisticated as some whisky drinkers, but my whisky all smells and tastes the same no matter what glass I drink it from. The Glenlivet smells and tastes the same out of this glass as it does out of the high balls glasses I typically use. Its a very nice glass that makes you look like you know something about whisky. But, honestly, if you enjoy it out of this glass, youll enjoy it out of any glass.

These are nice little glasses for whiskey, they are definitely a popular mainstay for avid whiskey drinkers and after using them I can see why, the glass looks nice and the shape helps push the scents and aromas up to the nose. These Glencairn Crystal Whiskey Glasses are perfect for nearly all types of whiskeys and I think in most cases they would make for a great gift to nearly any avid drinker.

I saw these at my son’s and liked them so much, I bought a set. He had his from the Wood Hat Distillery, with their logo. Mine are the same glass, without the logo. Love them. Beautiful to look at and hold. Came very quickly and well-packaged
