Excellent whisky glasses, especially considering the price. There are a few imperfections like a micro bubble on one glass, that’s why I gave the four star review. Such an imperfection does not affect performance, though. I own specialized glassware for wine, cognac and now whisky and these Glencairn glasses do just as they were intended. The tulip shape focuses the aromas making the spirit easier to nose and appreciate and also helps control the pour for tasting purposes. I was familiar with the Glencairn glasses, and already owned two, but after buying a set of my own I had two friends over to taste some bourbon and Scotch and the one who is more like me when it comes to appreciating spirits commented for days on what a difference the Glencairn glasses made... and then he ended up getting some for himself.

The Glencairn glass focuses the aroma of the spirits for a better tasting. Made for sipping fine scotch or bourbon straight or with very little water.

This glass provides an amazing nose for all your favorite whiskeys. Try it and youll be amazed that you found many new and intense flavors that you never smelled before when nosing your whiskey in a rocks glass. This thing performs as advertised. The only glass that might beat this one for whiskey in my book is the Norlan glass, but you get 6 of these for less than the price of 1 Norlan glass, so as far as value is concerned, this one wins by a mile.

This particular design of whiskey glass is used universally. The shape of these glasses direct aromas toward the rim, so one gets the aroma and the taste at the same moment.

Indeed, the lower bowl gives a clear display of the color of the whisky and the nose is nicely funneled through the narrower neck. The glass was a little smaller than I expected but I am very happy with it. Could be difficult if you drink with lots of ice but since I use a “splash” it is no problem.

Good product for a reasonable price.

After years of drinking from tumblers, these glasses made our whisky/whiskey/bourbon tasting even better. You can really enjoy the liquor with more senses. Aromas, colors and flavors arent lost. If youre paying the price for better drinks, then why not get the most out of them with a proper glass?
