I bought these and use them now for task lights under the cabinet...for pets, its a joke

These are good because they make my pet happy.

Theres no telling how long these will last, but they work, the price is good and I needed a low watt heat bulb that I could get away with sitting directly on the tank lid for baby turtles. 4 for 13$ shipped and Im not complaining at all.

I purchased this set of 4 bulbs in Mid March 2021, now the last week of April 2021, ALL FOUR HAVE BURNT OUT after light usage. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

The bulbs I was sent had zero uvb rays even though its advertised and says it on the small sticker on the box. My red eared slider that is a year and a half old just died tonight bc of lack of vitamin D which is produced from the uvb. I took her to the vet last week and that was the diagnosis. I bought a uvb tester and there was absolutely no uvb showing up. I went and bought an actual uvb bulb from petsmart but it was too late to save her. She was just getting heat from these bulbs. If you buy these bulbs please test them for UVB before using them on your pet so that you dont end up writing a review on here while bawling your eyes out. I hate myself for buying these!! And this was a brand new bulb...not one that had been used for weeks or months!

Smaller than what they replaced but works great for a fraction of the price... so far.

Good value of money but dies off fast.
