Greater than one weekI like that the cable retract when not being used, and for the same reason no worries of dragging them on the ground. They are a little long for my application and I would suggest to the company that they consider making two or three lengths. Overall very satisfied.

They also keep tension on the hooks so they wont fall off. The curly cord effect keeps the safety cable out of harms way and makes sure they are ready for use when you need them. I own several trailers that I rent out and these have eliminated my need to replace chains that someone didnt hook up correctly and dragged on the ground.
