These were great cables heavy duty and was exactly what I wanted.

These cables are a great way to update any trailer. I bought these to replace chains that sag below the trailer tongue and rubbed the ground if they weren’t twisted. These don’t sag when attached to the truck and hang close to the tongue and off the ground when parked. These are a great buy!

I ordered this item to replace the safety chains on my equipment trailer. The original chains were not an appropriate grade for the trailer, but these cables individually exceed the trailer capacity. They are also much more user friendly, in comparison to chains. During use, the cable will remain in a semi-coiled position, thus eliminating ground drag. They attach to the tow vehicle effortlessly and stay connected via the S hook spring latch. I no longer have to worry about the hooks coming loose from the tow vehicle. I also have peace of mind that if they trailer becomes disengaged during towing that the cables will support the trailer and prevent complete separation from the tow vehicle. These cables are well worth the price and I highly recommend them. I will be using them on all my trailers now. After all, it is a small price to ensure the safety of others.

Use these on our JetSki trailer (total of 3.1k pounds weight. Far batter than chain and despite what other reviewers have stated, they are the length indicated. I think those reviewers just do not understand the concept behind these cable units and/or remove stars because they did not measure beforehand. No slack and enough give to allow safe turns. Well made and I like them better than the Reese units.

Very happy with these. Strong cables, easy to install on my boat trailer, coil up nicely to stay out of the way and lock onto my trucks hitch with ease. Top notch product.

Great product, but like others have noted, the actual practical length (given the strong cable coils) is more like 18-20 rather than 40.

On point

Our old rusty cable had hooks that would not slip into the bracket on the back of the new truck, so a replacement was needed. This set cost half of what the local trailer parts store wanted for a comparable item, they look and work great.

The length, gauge and materials all seem excellent. I like that they curl up to take up the slack. My only gripe is that they are made in China, but most things are these days.
