Daiwa CS-201A 2 Position Coax Switch

The switch works fine and I would recommend it.

Solid. Built like a tank. Good feel to the switch. Saw no loss using it. Will get another in the future to switch from antenna to dummy load.

Side of the metal wall of antenna input connector was bended and damaged . I dont know if it were due to manufaturing or damaged during the transpotation.

I am a ham radio operator and have a long wire antenna in my back yard. It works great with my ham radio. I bought this to switch the antenna to my very old Heathkit Most Accurate Clock. The clock no longer resets to the correct time with just a little antenna, it needed a stronger signal. At first I would swap the PL259 antenna connectors manually. During the day the big antenna went to the ham radio, overnight I put the big antenna to the clock. I got tired of moving the connectors. So I use this switch, one click - antenna moved. . NOTE: if doing this with a transmitter such as my ham radio, BE SURE to have the antenna switched to the radio, I do this prior to even powering up my ham radio. . The switch has been in use for several weeks and the click to switch feels positive and has never failed. Its a quality device from a brand that I have used for decades without ever getting a dud.

The unselected coax is grounded to the case.

Two radios and one antenna hooked up

As good as yesteryears product . two radios to one antenna is great . Two antennas to big power ... look elsewhere .

I highly recommend this coax switch. It is rugged and appears to be quality which is what you want to maximize isolation for best performance.

Removed this switch from its package and the knob fell off switch. Appears the center shaft has MAJOR porosity issue. Package appears to be cracked/damaged so at some point this item was dropped or thrown around, cause the center shaft to snap off the switch. Due to the fragility of the shaft, and obvious poor metal quality of the switch shaft, I do not recommend this switch.
