> 3 dayI recently purchased 2 SUP and needed straps to secure them to my roof of my 2008 Tahoe. I was a bit skeptical because I have never heard of this brand before, but I have to say, these are top of the line straps. Worth every penny. They synch down very well and I drove down the interstate at 70mph. I stopped twice along the way for my 4 hour drive and I did not need to tighten them at all. There are complaints about the padding being in the way, but I have no complaints in regards to that. The padding is there for a specific reason. Who cares if It causes a slight obstacle when trying to feed the strap through the clamp section.

> 3 dayDrove 90miles at about 70mph and no issue at all. Super easy to use and the buckles have a nice pad so no scratches to your board or ride! Great deal for what you get.

> 3 dayA bit tricky to figure out and not super convenient. Ive used Thule straps which made things a little easier, although these are very durable and great for multiple boards.

17-11-2024Da Kine is a saying in Hawaii used (among other ways) to say something is great. If somebody tells you that this or that is da kine, brah, you can take that as high praise and a solid recommendation. These straps are definitely da kine! Seriously, after using these I would use nothing else. Once you figure out how to run the strap through the buckle by lifting up the protective sheath from underneath - you can head down the road with your boards and feel confident they will get to the beach no problem, even if that beach is way down the freeway or off some bumpy back road. I use these to strap two 11 foot SUPs to my vans roof rack and I smile every time I pull them tight. They are 100% awesome, and that protective sheath is a great touch. I really didnt recognize Da Kine as being much more than another brand name for surf gear - but now I know - they make top quality products, products you can trust with your precious surf gear. Buy these and never sweat your boards flying off of your car again.

> 3 daytrying to feed the straps in the buckles is horrible, the neoprene blocks the opening and you can not do it in a timely manner leaving you very frustrated after trying to tie down your boards on top of the vehicle. They also seemed to loosen resulting in possible disaster of your boards flying off into another car on the road!!!!! Poor design. Just get regular tie downs
