> 24 hourOnly one little complaint - the unscented bag still has scent. I cannot hang a DampRid bag in a family member’s bedroom, because that person sometimes has breathing problems. I hung the bag in a nearby room, and, as you can see from the photo, it really does work. The bags are perfect for the basement too. You could hang the bags and/or use the large DampRid pail for large spaces, but ***do not remove or puncture the paper cover, like I did.** I’m going to dispose of the damaged one. I’ve bought the bags several times for the basement alone. It greatly improves that musty, stagnant stale air smell, and even though we have dehumidifiers working 24/7 in the basement, the DampRid bags still remove water. If there is any risk of mold in your dwelling, get these bags and see just how much water they remove. Mold loves stagnant air, darkness and moisture. If you have pet birds, or other pets, check with your vet first, before using DampRid. Birds have very delicate respiratory systems, are highly sensitive to many scents, and birds can be injured or die by artificial scents. Ask you vet if the crystals in the pail are safe around other animals. It is a nightmare to remove a large mold infestation. I wish I had known about DampRid years ago. I highly recommended these bags. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it to help avoid mold.

> 24 hourI absolutely love these! I live right by the beach so the sea breeze and ocean air is always quite humid. I noticed that my boots that are in my shoe rack near my bedroom window were periodically getting mildew on them from the moisture in the air. Every few months I would have to wash them. Now I hang one of these from the rack on the bottom shelf and voila! Mildew issue is gone. I replace it about once every month or two; whenever the bag fills with water, it’s time to replace with another. Wish I would have known about these sooner! Also, the scent is fresh and not overpowering. You only smell it if you put your nose up to the area. I have a sensitive nose and was worried about it, but it’s no issue.

> 24 hourI have only had these bags for 3 weeks. We live in Louisiana and it is very humid and musty in this state. Especially with hurricane season. It used to drive me nuts that my clothes would smell musty. I bought these for my closet, but it came in a 3 pack. I decided to put 1 in my closet, 1 in my husbands gym room and 1 in my car. The amount of water these collected was crazy! Pics attached are the 1 from my closet and his gym. the fact that these rooms no longer smelled musty was amazing!!!! My car one fell off the hanger but still obsorbed water. These will now be a staple in our home and I plan to get them for each room of the house.

> 24 hourDont ask me to explain *how* it works, but it definitely works. This one is already filling up and its only been up for like 2 weeks. I live in Georgia where it is very humid, and I like to take a lot of showers, so these things were made for me! This is the second set Ive had.
