05-06-2025Only one little complaint - the unscented bag still has scent. I cannot hang a DampRid bag in a family member’s bedroom, because that person sometimes has breathing problems. I hung the bag in a nearby room, and, as you can see from the photo, it really does work. The bags are perfect for the basement too. You could hang the bags and/or use the large DampRid pail for large spaces, but ***do not remove or puncture the paper cover, like I did.** I’m going to dispose of the damaged one. I’ve bought the bags several times for the basement alone. It greatly improves that musty, stagnant stale air smell, and even though we have dehumidifiers working 24/7 in the basement, the DampRid bags still remove water. If there is any risk of mold in your dwelling, get these bags and see just how much water they remove. Mold loves stagnant air, darkness and moisture. If you have pet birds, or other pets, check with your vet first, before using DampRid. Birds have very delicate respiratory systems, are highly sensitive to many scents, and birds can be injured or die by artificial scents. Ask you vet if the crystals in the pail are safe around other animals. It is a nightmare to remove a large mold infestation. I wish I had known about DampRid years ago. I highly recommended these bags. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it to help avoid mold.

> 3 dayI like the mild, pleasant, fresh scent they have which adds to their effect especially in closets. I have a clothes closet on an outside wall in an older house in the south where it is humid 75%-90% of the time. I make sure to keep a bag in there all the time. It has worked well for me. I have not had any issuess with musty smells or any mold develop in that closet. I usually drain the liquid out of the bag before discarding it, just to make sure it doesnt get torn by something in the trash bag and possibly leak on the floor before getting the bag outside. Just a precautionary thought on that--be careful not to get the liquid on a ceramic tile floor--just wiping it up is not enough. The floor remains greasy looking and quite slippery. If you have a spill.; I find it best to dry it up, then use a mild cleaner and clean the area. (Whatever cleaner you would normally use or even dish soap will work) Overall, I love the bags. They are easy to use, convenient, and effective.

> 3 dayWe purchased this Moisture absorber, and use them in closets that have limited air flow; under stairs and areas that are subject to moderate humidity.

> 3 dayAs you can see by the pictures this product works. No doubt about it. I was having an issue in my guest bedrooms with a musty odor. My mom said I needed to find something that could take the moisture out. Checking online I found this product. I hung it up as directed and within a couple of days it was obvious it was working. So impressed with how it draws the moisture out of the room and into the bag. An affordable option to make sure that your rooms are protected and smell their best.
