> 3 dayThe crystals are pretty small, but the holes on the top are very large. When you first fill the container, its very easy to go and spill the whole thing. After a few days the crystals do pick up some moisture and start clumping together, so its ok after a while. I cut some of the permeable paper from some of those hanging moisture absorbers (with the paper on one side of the pouch holding the crystals and the pouch that picks up water below) and put that between the bucket and the lid - it works great! I think this would be a better product if the lid already had a paper/mesh layer. They work great though, and are overall easy to fill and place around the house.

> 3 dayI put it in my classic car in South Florida and you can see the water accumulate at the bottom of the container.

> 3 dayIf you have a damp-humid area like a bathroom, this product really helps remove some of that moisture out of the area. Depending on how humid and how much moisture you have in the location will determine how many cups you put into that area. For example, in the bathroom I put one by the toilet AND another one under inside the cabinet vanity. every 2-3 weeks I dump the water it has collected and replace the pellets for another 2-3 weeks.

> 3 dayThese refillable damp-rid containers work pretty well so far. I got the fragrance free version, and put them in my room to help with the musty odor.

> 3 dayDampRid is working at getting rid of the dampness in our closets, and basement. No foul smell, the absorbency is unbelievable. It really does suck the moisture out of where you need it. Our basement is very damp during the summer months, this stuff is helping it get rid of it. Was easy to use, and set up. Definitely recommend.

> 3 dayWe’ve used these Damp Rid devices in our RVs for years when storing in damp climates. Now that we live in a humid climate, we keep at least one open in it all the time to keep it from becoming damp and unpleasant smelling. We’ve never had mold or mildew while using them so I guess they work just fine! And the best thing is they have no odor if you order the original. I hate smelly products.

14-06-2025Never used this product before, but we had basement moisture after a big rainfall. The wood subfloor got damp.. I did the main cleanup, but the floor was taking forever to dry out until I put down the Damp Rid tubs. That got the last of the moisture — bone dry in a day, so rapidly I knew it had to be the Damp Rid’s doing. Dry and odorless!! I was a skeptic, now I’m a believer.
