> 3 dayBefore I ordered this I read reviews and a lot of them said that the crystals just sticked together and didn’t melt. I ordered it anyway to try it out. It did stick together for the first few weeks but I just left it alone and after another few weeks they finally dissolved. Have some patience and they will dissolve. This is in our bedroom I’m not sure of the exact size but it is fairly big (the master bedroom of a 2-bed apartment), it did absorb moisture and decreased the mold/mildew smell from our room. Our apartment unit is under some dirt so it’s moist here all the time and there is mold every time. We always repaint the walls with mold paint every year during spring or summer (we live in WA). The scent of the product is okay though, it’s not strong. Make sure to paint your walls with thick anti-mold paint to completely get rid of the mold and mold smell though. But the product does a great job with absorbing, just have patience. This is not a paid review.

> 3 dayAmazing how much water it has pulled out of the old cabinets I wanted to use. I put one cup in each drawer. Had to dump out and refill a couple times and now its bone dry in there.

> 3 dayI’ve been using this for years. They have finally dressed up the container so I can have it in any room without it being an eyesore. Thank you!

> 3 dayI purchased this for use in a large walk in closet, using three containers for the one closet. I immediately noticed the containers trapping moisture. However, they do not seem to have abated the damp smell of the large closet. In the end, while these do seem to work, for larger closets one may simply need to use a dehumidifier of some size to be the most effective. This has proved the most helpful to me, albeit not as easy to use as the passive moisture collectors.

> 3 dayNo smell, easy to use, good size to fit in small places while also working in larger rooms. The crystals dissolve quickly or slowly based on the amount of moisture its around which is great- its actually doing its job instead of just dissolving at the same rate. We put it in the access area behind our tub where we found lots of mold from wet insulation due to a poorly sealed window. It helped pull the moisture out of the subfloor wood and paneling as well as reduce the strength of the mold smell. 100% recommend this product!

> 3 dayWe’ve used these Damp Rid devices in our RVs for years when storing in damp climates. Now that we live in a humid climate, we keep at least one open in it all the time to keep it from becoming damp and unpleasant smelling. We’ve never had mold or mildew while using them so I guess they work just fine! And the best thing is they have no odor if you order the original. I hate smelly products.

> 3 dayIve used this in the past and it worked within weeks. This time around I put 2 of these in a VERY humid place in my home and over a month later the crystals are still solid rocks and havent liquefied at ALL. Ill go to the store and buy one to see if theres a difference. EDIT: After like 2 months the crystals started breaking down and liquefying. Guess this batch just needed some time.

> 3 dayI bought Damp Rid to use under my kitchen sink and in my bathroom. Since I live in a house that is well over 100 years old, moisture is ALWAYS a problem. I have been using these containers for a few weeks and I can honestly say there is a noticeable difference. I recommend these to anyone who has a problem with moisture of damp. The price for 4 is very reasonable and I will be purchasing more.
